All our slab wood and waste wood from the sawmill and shavings lines are converted to woodchip for sale as a renewable fuel, supplying local woodchip heating systems.

• Peelings

This is where our round timber is brought in by our crane timber wagons, for the processing of fencing and sawn timber materials. This  site incorporates our Chipper canter line, Treatment plant, Peeling plant and Pack saw.

The Pack saw, which is a computerised pack cutting machine, can trim and halve packs of sawn timber in minutes, saving time and money, and also giving 100% measured accuracy.

Our timber treatment plant is used for treating our own produce, timber for other local mills, and our mill at Helmsley. Please contact us for details.
